Adoption Process
The adoption process for the Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center is as follows:
- Any Dog may be adopted after their 3 day Stray Hold is up.
- All Dogs that are adopted must be spayed/neutered at a veterinarian under contract with Muskingum County unless already spayed/neutered before arrival at the Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center.
PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED AT RELEASE

Volunteers of the Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center operate a facebook page that is dedicated to networking dogs in the Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center to help them find loving, forever homes.
The purpose of this page is to network and find homes for the dogs at the Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center and to raise awareness and funds to help build a much needed new facility.
